Meeting of the 4th Steering Committee of the EMRA project celebrated in Valencia

Last 16th and 17th of may, the LOCSUS research group hosted the meeting of the Steering Committee of the Erasmus Multilateral EMRA Project. The European Masters for Rural Animators (EMRA) aims to create a new European post-graduate course, interdisciplinary in nature, intending to make a direct contribution to sustainable rural development by establishing explicitly the profession of rural animator and by offering the necessary education, competence building and qualifications to consolidate this profession. EMRA targets graduates in humanities and social sciences (sociology, economics, political science, social geography), agronomy, land use planning, engineering, management, education etc., both mid-career professionals and people who just completed their first degree, and are willing to work in rural areas.
